Missouri's first 133 pounder to earn All-American honors, 2008 graduate Tyler McCormick is in his first season as the Tiger's Director of Wrestling Operations.

Two-time All-American and four-time letterwinner McCormick earned back-to-back top eight finishes at the 2006 and 2007 NCAA Championships. The Tiger grappler finished his career with 77 wins and made three NCAA Championship appearances.

Following graduation in May of 2008, the three-time ESPN The Magazine and NWCA Academic All-American was awarded the prestigious Dr. Prentice Gautt and NCAA Postgraduate Scholarships and continued his education, earning an MBA from Missouri in 2009. McCormick is currently working towards his law degree while serving as Missouri's Director of Wrestling Operations.

McCormick was a three-time team captain while wrestling at Missouri and is one of three McCormick brothers to compete under Head Coach Brian Smith. Older brother, Chris, graduated from Missouri in 2006 after wrestling for four years between 133 and 141 pounds. Younger brother, Nathan, is a redshirt freshman on Missouri's 2009-10 squad and will likely wrestle in the 133 pound weight class.
